The Association participated in a workshop titled “Sustainable Practices in Organic Crop Pest Control,” held at the National Center for Organic Agriculture, which aimed to raise awareness of the importance of adopting modern and sustainable methods in agricultural pest management.
The workshop addressed a number of key topics, most notably promoting the concept of biological control as an effective alternative to reduce reliance on traditional solutions, as well as reviewing sustainable best practices applied in greenhouses. It also emphasized the importance of shifting from reactive treatment methods to a preventive approach to pest management, thereby contributing to improving the quality and sustainability of agricultural production.
The workshop included a field visit to observe practical applications of biological pest control, which gave participants the opportunity to learn from practical experiences and exchange expertise in this field.
