The government “May God support it,” represented by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, has taken an active interest in organic farming to keep pace with global developments in this field, given its importance and its health, environmental, and economic benefits. One manifestation of this interest was the issuance of Cabinet Decision No. 273, dated 1428/8/21 AH, which included “approval for the establishment of the Saudi Organic Farming Association.”
