A workshop titled “The Importance of Organic Farming and Best Agricultural Practices” was held
As part of the activities and events for Organic Food Day, the Saudi Organic Farming Association, in collaboration with the Organic Agriculture Department and the National Center for Organic Agriculture, held a workshop today, Monday, November 25, 2024, titled “The Importance of Organic Farming and Its Best Agricultural Practices” at the Social Development Center in Al-Ais Governorate, part of the Madinah Region, under the patronage of His Excellency the Governor of Al-Ais Governorate. On the sidelines of the workshop, participants were introduced to the most prominent crops and agricultural products for which the governorate is renowned through a small exhibition of these products. This was followed by advisory and technical visits to several farms interested in transitioning to organic farming.
